A 7-day tour that outlines a complex image of Romania, both from a cultural, historical,
geographical and population point of view. It will be inspiring to have the past and the present,
the old and the modern so close. Let Romania surprise you!

Day 1

We start the journey with a stop to Turda Salt Mine, the world’s deepest underground entertainment park and museum (120m) and continues with the visit of Alba Iulia the biggest citadel in Romania and a symbol of Romanian nationalism. The road will take you to a land of mystery and lords, The Crovin’s Castle in Hunedoara, the last stop of the day.

Day 2

The largest open-air ethnography exhibit in Europe, the Astra Museum, will charm you with its „living museum” concept that is based on, presenting the traditional folk culture that will transpose you in the past. The tour of the medieval city Sibiu will complete a view of the locals and it will involve you with its aristocratic elegance.

Day 3

This day is about enjoying the wonderful nature and its amazing things. A trip on the Transfagarasan Road, Romania’s second highest road, with a stop at the Balea waterfall and lunch in a amazing landscape it’s something that you can not miss!

Day 4

The trip will continue with the visit of the Bran Castle, the dearest house of the second and the beloved queen of the country, Queen Maria, and nest of the popular and well-known Count Dracula. Rasnov fortress, a solid example of medieval defensive construction, will be our next stop, followed by Bears Sanctuary in Zarnesti, the largest sanctuary of this type in Europe. You will have the opportunity to see some of the over 100 saved bears, Romania having the highest number of brown bears in Europe.

Day 5

If you are passionate about stories of royalty, splendid architecture and history, the next stop it will bring you lots of joy. One of the most modern castles in Europe and the first one on the continent fully supplied by electrical power, Peles Castle, is ready to show you why it’s considered to be one of the most beautiful castles in Europe. The royalty story it will be continued with the visit of Brasov, town that was named “the city of the crown”.

Day 6

This day is dedicated to two of the UNESCO World Heritage Sites of Romania and highlights of Transylvania´s Saxon heritage, the fortified church of Sarchiz and Sighisoara, one of the most beautiful and authentic small medieval towns in Europe and the only one in Romania that is still inhabited.

Day 7

You can’t leave Romania without visiting the called „ heart of Transylvania”, Cluj Napoca. One of Romania’s largest cities, Cluj Napoca is an important economical and university center, that will surprise you with its charm.
